Hops is a plant. The dry, flowering part of the plant is used to produce drugs.
Its action is sedative, antiseptic, astringent. The ability of the herb to relax and soothe is complemented by antibacterial action of ingredients such as lupulin and humulin, which reduce inflammation and the overall tonic effect of the whole plant.
Hops are used for anxiety, sleeplessness (sleeplessness) and other sleeping disorders, anxiety, tension, agitation, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), nervousness and irritability. It is also used to improve appetite, increase urine flow, start the flow of breast milk as a bitter tonic, and indigestion. Other uses include prostate cancer, breast cancer, ovarian cancer, high cholesterol, tuberculosis, bladder infections, intestinal cramps, intestinal disorder called mucosal colitis, nerve pain and prolonged painful penile erection. Hops is sometimes applied to the skin for leg ulcers and as an antibacterial agent.
In foods and beverages, extracts and oil are used as flavor ingredients. Hops are also used in brewing.
During the preparation, the extract is used in creams and skin lotions.
Its combination in BALSAM P 83 cream multiplies the pain killer and anti-inflammatory effect of the cream.
